The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs (3-3) snapped their two-game losing streak with a 15-14 win over the 1A 3-time defending state champion Madison County Cowboys Friday, Oct. 30, at Sal Campanella Stadium.
The Bulldogs welcomed the Cowboys after DeLand cancelled its game with FPC for a more prestigious opponent in No. 29 nationally-ranked St. Thomas Aquinas.
After three quarters in which neither team scored an offensive touchdown, the Cowboys captured the lead 14-9, but the Bulldogs scored the go-ahead touchdown and extra point in the final four minutes to win the game.
