Two dogs and two cats have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Dave, an 8-year-old Olde English Bulldog mix with a brown and tan coat. He has been with the Halifax Humane Society for almost a year, having come in Feb. 25, 2019, and the society is asking residents really consider adopting him. Dave is a good dog, and would be perfect in a household where he is the only pet. He is fun to play with, listens well, sits on command and performs other tricks. His adoption fee has been paid by a donor.

The second dog is Penelope, an 11-year-old hound mix with a black and white coat. She is in need of a loving home. Penelope has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Feb. 26, and her adoption fee costs $35.
