Halifax Humane Society's Pets of the Week for Aug. 20

Three dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Seal, a 4-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a grey coat. He is fun-loving and loves to play fetch. His adoption fee is $70.

The second is Chev, a 5-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a black and white coat. She is friendly, however, she is also scared of other animals and needs to gain trust with humans again. Her adoption fee is $35.

The third is DeeDee, an 8-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a black coat. She is a nice dog that will be very loyal to her owner. She would not do well in a family setting, but is a great fit for a single person who needs a companion. Her adoption fee is $35.

The cat is Storm, a 1-year-old domestic shorthair with a white and grey coat. He is energetic and would enjoy playing with his forever family. He will need two litter boxes and some scratching posts. Contact the Halifax Humane Society for the cost of his adoption fee.
