Constitution Chair Donna Dienno said there are two documents of paramount importance to U.S History: The Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution. The DAR's celebration goals are to encourage the study of historical events that led to the framing of the Constitution, and remind the public that the Constitution is the foundation of American life. Sept. 17 marked the 232nd-anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution.
