AT&T customers and FirstNet subscribers in Palm Coast will experience a boost in wireless connectivity in the future. New cell sites off Belle Terre Parkway, just south of Royal Palms Parkway, and on Farmsworth Drive, between Farnell Drive and Palm Harbor parkway, will eventually improve service in the surrounding areas. These are the second and third cell sites AT&T has added in Palm Coast this year.
“We want our customers to have a great experience," said Joe York, AT&T Florida president. "With 4G LTE service, they’ll be able to experience better network connectivity while streaming videos, sharing on social media or texting family and friends. We consistently work to provide better coverage for the community and its first responders. And we’re investing in our wireless network to accomplish that.”
City staffers say other carriers may be included going forward.
On Nov. 20, the law firm of Chiumento Dwyer Hertel Grant marked 10 years in their City Centre location.
In late 1973, the firm’s founding partner Mike Chiumento first opened his practice at 326 Moody Blvd. in Flagler Beach, where he worked for 12 years. In 1985, Chiumento moved his thriving law firm to 4 Old Kings Rd, where the company practiced for 24 years until November 2009, when they moved to the current location on the lake in Town Center.
The firm recently celebrated 45 years serving Flagler and Volusia Counties.
With the adoption of the strategic plan earlier this year, the city of Bunnell and the Bunnell City Commission made economic development one of its priorities. One of the objectives within the plan is to increase the city’s economic base through the development of a performance-based incentive policy.
To assist in making progress towards this objective, the Bunnell City Commission will consider a resolution that would create a new business incentive program during its regular City Commission meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at the Chambers Meeting Room at 201 West Moody Blvd.
