Biz Buzz: Golf tournament raises nearly $30K for Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House

Nearly 120 golfers helped Florida Hospital HospiceCare for the 16th annual Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House Golf Tournament on Oct. 22 at the Hammock Dunes Links Course in Palm Coast.

Net proceeds totaled $28,000, which will support the eight-bed Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, located on the campus of Florida Hospital Flagler. The Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House is the community’s most comprehensive hospice, offering acute, respite, home health and continuous care. No other hospice in Flagler County offers all four services.

New hires and promotions

  • Flagler Integrative Veterinary Center of Flagler Beach added two veterinarians to the team: Dr. Carrie Coffey and Dr. Heather Rogers.
  • The FSPA East Central Chapter announced new board members, including three from Palm Coast: Roy Waldhauer, Adam Beaty and Holly Waldhauer.
