LOL, just kidding

1:54 p.m. — 1500 block of West Granada Boulevard

Possession of meth. Police found meth in a 30-year-old South Carolina woman's coin purse while searching her stuff after she attempted to steal three "LOL dolls" from a local supermarket. The woman stuffed the dolls, which are worth $36.90, into her purse before walking out of the store.

She was stopped by the store's loss prevention officer and detained until officers arrived at the scene. After they found the meth in her purse, and after being told by the woman that there was nothing else in her purse, officers also found heroin and a glass pipe. At the end of the search, the woman tried to run out of the loss prevention office, but she was stopped by an officer at the door. She was later taken to jail.

Wash me

Driving while license suspended. A 38-year-old Ormond Beach woman told an officer her dark window tint was actually just "dirty" when she was pulled over. The officer conducted the traffic stop believing that her car's window tint was much darker than the legal 28%.

Using his tint meter, the officer determined his suspicions were correct, as the tint measured 5%. It was then that the woman told him not only that she had a suspended license and was a habitual traffic violator but that she thought she had broken her foot a few hours earlier when she was at the beach.

The officer arrested her and, seeing as her foot was swollen, took her to the hospital.

Flirtatious advances

1:16 a.m. — Intersection of Selden Avenue and North Yonge Street

DUI. A 30-year-old Ormond Beach woman continuously told police officers she was cute and asked if they thought she was cute too during a DUI investigation. She also said she thought the officers were cute and asked: "When did Ormond get such cute officers?"

Police had pulled the woman over after she ran a red light, swerved in her lane multiple times and made an illegal left turn. When the officers approached her car, the windshield wipers were activated. They asked her if she had been drinking, and police reported she said: "You all are already going to take me to jail. I'm suspended."

She also told them she caught her "baby daddy of 10 years" in a rental car with another woman, which upset her and led her to buy alcohol at a liquor store, though she said she hadn't drank anything.

The woman did not perform well during the standard field sobriety exercises. In the "walk and turn" portion, police report she "pranced." She was taken to jail.
