SHS "Test Drive" fundraiser 

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Seabreeze High School, 2700 N. Oleander Ave.

Details: Help the PTSA off Seabreeze High School raise funds to replace a broken audio system in the school’s auditorium. Test drive new vehicles on campus. No purchase necessary. For every test drive, Daytona Auto Mall will make a donation to SHS.

Halifax Genealogical Society

When: 1:30 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach Library auditorium, 30 S. Beach St.

Details: Learn how to recognize urban myths in your family history. Visitors welcome. Call 672-3806.

OMAM Veterans Day Tribute

When: 11 a.m. to noon

Where: Ormond Memorial Art Museum, 78 E. Granada Blvd.

Details: Join the museum in the parking area at the south end of the gardens. Entertainment, speakers and light refreshments. 

Saturday, Nov. 10

Holiday craft fair

When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10; noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11

Where: St. Brendan Catholic School, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd.

Details: This year's 39th-annual fair features 100 craft vendors, a holiday gift raffle, refreshments, baked goods, and a guest appearance by Santa. Free admission.

Florida Humanities Speakers Series

When: 9:30-11 a.m.

Where: Anderson-Price Building, 42 N. Beach St.

Details: The Ormond Beach Historical Society presents "Fallen Heroes of WWII: Celebrating the Courageous Lives of Volusia Heroes." Joe Vetter will share stories in this Veterans Day Program. See rare photos, and participate in trivia with prizes. Free event. Coffee and cookies will be served.

Amazing World of Illusions

When: 7 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, 399 N. U.S. 1

Sewing classes

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Hobby Lobby, 11000 Cornerstone Blvd.
