Florida Hospital makes history with first centra care center
Join Florida Hospital Flagler and the Palm Coast Chamber of Commerce from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 2, for a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration for the Florida Hospital Centra Care facility, the first in the city. Attendees will enjoy facility tours, a light lunch and more.
This new 5,000-square-feet facility is located at 1270 Palm Coast Parkway NW, and will answer a true need in Flagler County. According to the Florida Department of Health, Flagler County has less than 140 licensed physicians serving its approximately 100,000 residents — less than half the coverage statewide. Call 586-2000.

Fletcher Music Centers recently opened its doors at 231 St. Joe Plaza Drive. Run by T.J. Goettsch, who has taught group music lessons in Flagler and Volusia counties since 1992, the studio features Lowrey “Virtual Orchestra” Keyboards and Organs, and is geared toward group music lessons for the senior citizen market. Beth Allen, formerly of Waterstone Mortgage, has joined Fairway Independent Mortgage Company, and has partnered together with Linda Ponsiek to create the Loan Pro Team.
“We have been casually talking on and off about how we could work together over the years, because we know that we both truly put the customer first,” Ponsiek said. “It’s been flattering having agents that tell us both that we are their go-to mortgage ladies, since we’ve announced our partnership,” Allen added.

Florida Hospital Flagler has selected pulmonologist Dr. Martin Kubiet to serve as the medical director of the hospital’s cardiopulmonary department. In his new role, Kubiet will assess and improve the quality of care, treatment and services, as well as develop and implement policies and procedures.
