Circus comes to the Carver Center

The George Washington Carver Community Center will present a circus 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 201 E. Drain Street, in Bunnell. Cost is $12.

Acts include juggling, trampoline, single trapeze, sword balancing, clown acts and more. For every adult ticket purchased, two children get in free. For tickets, call 437-7526, ext. 1790.
 

First Church to host MLK service
First Church of Palm Coast will host a service in celebration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

There will be special music, and the Rev. Gillard S. Glover will preach about how God uses change agents like Dr. King, 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Jan. 19. Persons of diverse ethnicities are invited to celebrate, at 91 Old Kings Road N.
 

Residents to be remembered at tree-planting
The Garden Club at Palm Coast will commemorate Florida Arbor Day 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in Central Park at the Palm Coast Town Center. There will be a special tree-planting ceremony to remember two community members of the club who have died since last January.

The honorees are Eloise Arnold and Jerry Full.

The same as the past few years, the club and the city of Palm Coast have worked together on the project. Mayor Jon Netts will be the guest speaker. The public is invited.
