Four Ormond Beach rowers take silver at the Halifax Regatta

Rowers from across the state came to Daytona Beach to compete in the 17th-annual Halifax Rowing Association Regatta.

A group of four Ormond Beach men grabbed a silver medal July 27, in the 17th-annual Halifax Rowing Association Regatta.

Rowers from across the state came to Daytona Beach to compete in the event, which takes place on the Halifax River, near the Jackie Robinson Ballpark.

Ormond Beach residents Chris Staley Nicholas Greer, Martin Trautschold and Michael Makowski took second place in the men’s masters quad.
