Donations of new toys to be used as holiday gifts for children in need will be collected by the Flagler Beach Rotary Club's Project Share at Flagler Beach's holiday parade 1 p.m. Saturday, in downtown Flagler Beach. The parade kicks off with Santa parachuting onto the beach near the pier.

Everyone is asked to bring a toy to be collected by Santa's Elves during the parade and placed in trucks whcih will transport them to needy kids. Toys should be new, unwrapped and suitable for ages birth to 17 years.

Project Share also collects new and gently-used bicycles. Checks should be made out to Project Share and can be mailed to Flagler Beach Rotary Club, at P.O. Box 2005, Flagler Beach, FL 32136.

This is Project Share's 14th year of operation. Last year, Project Share provided toys for 1,400 children.
Families who receive the toys are identified through local schools.
