Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas both won district games Friday night. FPC defeated Sandalwood; Matanzas beat Pedro Menendez.
Flagler Palm Coast (6-1) got plenty of offensive production Friday night, as the Lady Bulldogs knocked off district foe Sandalwood, 12-0.
Sophomore pitcher Morgan Lambert (6-1) threw a no-hitter and racked up nine strikeouts in five innings.
Lee Ann Spivey went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs. Sam Mittel went 2-for-4. Ashton Stevens and Lambert each had two RBIs.
Johnson powers Matanzas past Mendez
Lady Pirates pitcher Amber Johnson allowed five hits, one walk and struck out five batters in seven innings of work as Matanzas defeated district opponent Pedro Menendez, 4-1.
Meghan Kyska had two hits and two RBIs, including a fourth-inning double.
