The Friends of Washington Oaks held their 23rd-annual Earth Day Celebration Saturday, April 21, and Sunday, April 22, at the state park.

The celebration is a fundraiser for the Friends every year, with the funds staying in the park for restorations. This year, funds will be put toward the construction of a permanent stage.
