The Peabody Auditorium Foundation’s Young Audience Series, now in its sixth season, is presenting TheaterWorksUSA’s family musical, "Clifford The Big Red Dog: The Musical" at the News-Journal Center at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The nonprofit organization is bringing this new musical comedy adventure that brings this children's series to the stage. Kathy Berman, executive director of the PAF, said she's thrilled to bring the musical to the community.
"It’s truly a multi-generational musical for fans of every age," Berman said in a press release.
President Rene Bell Adams agreed.
"Clifford was a favorite of mine when I was little, and our son’s too — the gift of live theater is connecting children, parents and grandparents to these wonderful productions," she said.
The PAF will be showcasing "Clifford the Big Red Dog: The Musical" with activities, ticket giveaways and promotions throughout the community. The mission of the PAF’s Young Audience Series is to provide youth and family audiences with affordable opportunities to experience engaging, educational and entertaining live cultural performances in our community that foster an appreciation of the arts.
Admission is $25 per person and can be purchased by visiting www.peabodyfoundation.org.
