The Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce honored eight teachers for its Teacher of the Quarter Program on Wednesday, May 20.
The chamber's longest running program, the chamber works with Ormond-area schools to select a recipient each quarter. At the end of the school year, each of the 32 teachers recognized during one of the quarters and their principals are invited to a luncheon.
"These teachers go above and beyond every day to inspire, encourage, and make a lasting impact on their students and schools," the Chamber wrote on a Facebook post. "It is always a privilege to celebrate the dedication, passion, and hard work they bring to our community."
