I want to thank Jearlyn Dennie for her recent article about the separation of church and state. The article was fantastic!
At 67 years old, I have heard this topic discussed and debated many times, and it has always frustrated me how so many people incorrectly interpret this phrase.
Jearlyn Dennie does a wonderful job clearly explaining the phrase: where it came from, why it was written, who wrote it and what the goal of it truly was.
The government has no business interfering with the church.
