2026 MedNexus Innovation Challenge

When: 5-7 p.m.

Where: Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE, Palm Coast

Details: The City of Palm Coast is partnering with the University of North Florida and Flagler Schools for the fifth MedNexus Innovation Challenge. High school students will pitch ideas addressing Florida’s evolving healthcare needs while competing for scholarship prizes.

First Friday Garden Walk

Details: Join a ranger the First Friday of every month for a garden walk. Learn about the history of Washington Oaks while exploring the gardens. Walk is approximately one hour. No registration required. Park entry fee applies.

ArtWalk at Beach Street

Brian Earl Foster Memorial Bull Riding Invitational

When: 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, May 1-2

Where: Flagler County Fairgrounds, 150 Sawgrass Road, Bunnell

Moonrise at the Beach

Arbor Day

Where: Central Park at Town Center, 975 Central Ave., Palm Coast

Details: Palm Coast's Arbor Day is returning for the 21st year. There will be a free tree giveaway, a walk‑through butterfly tent, family-friendly activities and educational opportunities. Free event.

52nd annual Art in the Park

When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 2; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 2

Where: Rockefeller Gardens. 26 Riverside Drive, Ormond Beach

Details: Attend this weekend featuring 100 artists and crafters, food trucks, live entertainment, kids' craft zone and more. Presented by the City of Ormond Beach and the Ormond Memorial Art Museum. Free admission and parking. 

God's Family Bible Church Pantry food distribution

When: 10-11 a.m.

Where: Parking lot across Gods Family Bible Church, 256 Old Brick Road, Bunnell

Details: God's Family Bible Church distributes food every first and third Saturday in this drive-thru event.

Fourth annual Paws for Music

When: 2-4 p.m.

Where: 1405 Saloon, 1405 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell

Details: The Father Eamonn Gill Council 13018 Knights of Columbus will serve its famous pancake breakfast in the Social Hall. The meal includes all the pancakes you can eat, scrambled eggs, a sausage link, orange juice and coffee. Costs $6 for adults; children under 12 eat free. All are welcome.

Sound Bath
