What are houses of worship, nonprofit organizations and government agencies doing to promote mental health and emotional wellbeing in our community? How can they work together to address needs that aren't being met? These and other questions will guide the conversation during the Spring Sharing Conference presented by the Interfaith and Community Resource Network.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, in the community center of Our Lady of Lourdes Church located at 201 University Blvd. in Daytona Beach. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. for networking.
The conference is free, including light refreshments and is open to the public. The IC Resource Network's seasonal conferences are geared toward helping service providers and people of faith in and around Volusia County learn from one another and identify opportunities for collaboration. Network leaders encourage houses of worship, nonprofit organizations and government agencies to send participants.
The conference will include speakers who work in mental health and wellness and related fields, information tables staffed by nonprofit organizations and ample opportunities for networking. For more information, call Sue Odena at 407-760-2304 or email [email protected].
