The regional baseball brackets were announced on Monday, April 20, and Flagler Palm Coast and Seabreeze are both in the playoffs.

Seabreeze was guaranteed a playoff spot with its 7-2 victory over Belleview in the District 5-5A championship game on April 17. But the Sandcrabs (11-14) will have an uphill battle. They received the eighth seed in Region 2-5A and will travel to No. 1 seed Winter Springs (20-5) on Friday, April 24. First pitch is 7 p.m.

The winner will meet No. 4 Cypress Creek or No. 5 Deltona in a best-of-three regional semifinal on May 1-2.

FPC (16-10) lost in the district semifinals but still made the playoffs for the third time in four years. The Bulldogs, who are seeded seventh in Region 1-7A, will visit No. 2 Spruce Creek (24-3) at 7 p.m. on April 24. The Hawks and Bulldogs met on March 3 with Creek holding off FPC 6-4.

The winner of the regional quarterfinal will play the winner of the Hagerty-Winter Park game in a best-of-three series on May 1-2.
