Meet Captain, Sloan, Fett and Piper, this week's featured adoptable pets from the Flagler Humane Society.

Captain is an 8-year-old grey and white cat who is as affectionate as they come. Captain greets everyone who walks into the room with a warm welcome and loves to rub up against people for pets and cuddles. He’s fantastic with people and other cats, making him a perfect addition to just about any home. He was surrendered on May 7 when his owner developed allergies.

With his striking blue eyes, charming little snaggle tooth, and expert biscuit-making skills, Sloan is truly the total package. This 12-year-old Siamese mix was found as a stray on April 24 but he hasn’t let that dim his friendly and affectionate spirit. Sloan is fully litter trained, gets along great with other cats, and loves attention from people.

Fett, 3, is a terrier mix with a playful spirit, a loving heart, and a zest for life. Weighing in at about 45 pounds, he is intelligent, great with other dogs, friendly with cats, and loves meeting new people. He walks well on a leash, is housebroken, and is very treat-motivated, making training a breeze. Fett was originally adopted from the Flagler Humane Society shelter as a puppy and was recently returned due to financial hardship.

Piper is a 1-year-old terrier mix bursting with love and playful energy. She is a sweet 40-pound girl who is great with new people, children, and other dogs. She was found as a stray on April 21 but her friendly nature and happy-go-lucky personality have made her a fast favorite. Piper is ready to find her forever family and shower them with affection, tail wags, and joy.
