enthusiast Lorenzo Possenti. According to a press release, each enlarged, scientifically  accurate insect sculpture is the "product of meticulous research, powerful magnification, and an artist’s skilled hand."

"The result is a vibrant and dynamic presentation that blurs the boundaries between art and science," the MOAS press release states. "Discover amazing armor and why insects wear their skeletons on the outside. Explore extraordinary architecture, from long antennae to intricately colored wing scales. Marvel at the art of camouflage, where bugs impersonate twigs, leaves, and even other animals to survive."

The exhibit will run through Oct. 19. For more information, visit Moas.org.
