Brandyn Bilyeu is a graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School. He enlisted in the Army in 2018 and attended the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center in Monterey, California.

He was trained to speak Pashto, an Eastern Iranian language, natively spoken in northwestern Pakistan and southern and eastern Afghanistan. For his honorable military service, he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, and Air Assault Badge, among others.

He has returned to Palm Coast and is looking forward to furthering his education in Information Technology by using his G.I. Bill education benefits.
