The Flagler Tiger Bay Club has elected new officers to two-year terms on its Board of Directors.

Jay Scherr will serve as president, Amelia Fulmer will serve as first vice president, and Joe Saviak and Marc Dwyer will serve as second vice presidents, according to a news release. Gary Walsh will continue as secretary and chair of the Governance Committee, Cheri Orr will continue as recording secretary and program manager, and Jim Uveges will continue as treasurer.

“I’m honored and excited to serve our members and work with our dynamic and talented board of directors and committee members to achieve our shared goals and vision," Scherr said.

Greg Davis set a remarkable example of what exceptional leadership, dedication, and humility look like. I look forward to continuing the legacy of excellence that has become synonymous with the Flagler Tiger Bay Club.”

In the new fiscal year, Scherr said, the club will work on four priorities: its membership program, its Young Executive program, holding Flagler’s premier candidate forum, and revitalizing its Young Tiger program.

"We hope you’ll join us at our upcoming luncheon meeting on Sept. 20 featuring guest speaker Husein Cumber, chief strategy officer with Florida East Coast Industries," Scherr said. "Husein will be discussing the potential regional impacts of the Brightline high-speed rail extension.”
