Democratic Women's Club of Florida recognizes Flagler County member

Local club member Myra Smith was recognized as the Grassroots Campaigner of the Year.

The Democratic Women's Club of Florida recognized Myra Smith as the Grassroots Campaigner of the Year.

Smith is a long-time member of the club's Flagler County chapter, according to a press release from the Democratic Women's Club of Flagler County.

Smith contributed in many statewide Democratic organizations, including her work in developing texting campaigns, the press release said. Smith was instrumental in organizing, developing texting processes and instructing club members in the texting campaign.

Smith was honored at the club's state convention in Orlando at the end of April.
