In a March 9 ceremony at Wadsworth Elementary School, the Flagler Sportfishing Club's ‘kids4reel’ program made a donation to help support the school's new student fishing club.

Wadsworth is the third Flagler County school to partner with the FSC and the kids4reel program, following Bunnell Elementary and Belle Terre Elementary.

The school program's leaders indicated that the donation will be used to help pay for bait, tackle, plus other gear and expenses.

Science, safety, conservation and fishing regulations will be emphasized to the students during fishing outings.

FSC members and others wishing to support this and other kids4reel projects can email [email protected] or [email protected] or go to https://flaglersportfishing.com/product/kids4reel/
