Flagler Palm Coast High School student Talafia English won the annual Flagler County Voter's Guide cover contest.

English designed the cover for this year's voter's guide. Her design was selected by the School Board from among 70 cover designs submitted by FPC and Matanzas High School students.

Supervisor of Elections Kaiti Lenhart introduced English during a Spotlight at the March 28 School Board meeting. English is in Ed Beckett's graphic design class.

The annual contest gives students an opportunity to gain experience working on a real-life design project while teachers engage them in a discussion about the electoral process.
