Flagler Beach, on Saturday, May 21, hosted its inaugural dog surfing competition, Hang 8. The event benefits the Flagler County Humane Society, Safe Pet Rescue and K9 for warriors. Aside from the surfing categories, events also included a dog costume contest, dog bone Easter egg hunt, pet adoptions and vendor booths.
