Flagler Palm Coast's girls tennis team won the Five Star Conference championship on March 25 at the Florida Tennis Center in Daytona Beach. The Bulldogs edged Spruce Creek by one point.
The FPC boys, meanwhile, finished second among the nine teams.
FPC reached the championship matches in all seven girls divisions with Ania Martynuk, Tessi Carlisi and Trista Rife winning championships at Nos. 3, 4 and 5 singles. Carlisi and Rife won their final matches in tiebreakers.
The Bulldogs also claimed the No. 2 doubles title with Anya Subachev and Martynuk winning the final.
Marcella Warner (No. 1) and Subachev (No. 2) advanced to the singles finals. Warner and Rife advanced to the No. 1 doubles final.
On the boys' side, Joshua Thorpe (No. 3), Alessandro Bevacqua (No. 4) and Jack Mikutel (No. 5) reached the finals in singles. Bevacqua and Mikutel also reached the finals in No. 2 doubles.
