The deputy pulled the vehicle over and asked the driver, a 42-year-old Orlando resident who smelled of alcohol, why he was going so fast.

Woman drives illegally to get new driver's license

10:57 a.m. 5100 block of State Road 100

Driving with a suspended license, marijuana possession. A deputy noticed that a car heading west on State Road 100 appeared to have window tinting darker than the legal limit.

The deputy stopped the car.

When the deputy approached the window, the car smelled of marijuana.

The driver said that she didn't have a driver's license because it had been suspended by the court for nonpayment of an obligation, but that she had just paid the fee required that very day and was on her way to the license office to pick up a new license.

The deputy found marijuana in the car, and arrested the driver for marijuana possession and driving on a suspended license. She got a warning for the window tint.
