The Palm Coast Little League's 12U all-star softball team won its second district championship in a row and its fourth in the last five years.
Palm Coast defeated Lake Mary 11-1 on June 21 at the Indian Trails Sports Complex to win the District 19 title.
The next stop on the girls' quest for a state championship will be the sectional tournament, which begins July 2 in Rockledge. Palm Coast finished second in the state last year.
Palm Coast's senior baseball team also won the District 19 championship to advance to sectionals with an 11-0 win at Deltona on June 23.
Here are PCLL's all-star scores and upcoming schedule:
June 21: Senior baseball lost to Deltona 11-10; 12U softball defeated Lake Mary 11-1 to win district title.
June 22: 11U softball lost to Lake Mary at Palm Coast; senior baseball defeated Deltona at Palm Coast.
June 23: Senior baseball defeated Deltona 11-0 to win district tile; 11U softball defeated Northwest Volusia 16-6 at Pierson.
June 25: 11U softball lost to Deltona, 14-4 at Palm Coast.
June 27: 10U softball at DeLand, 7 p.m.
July 2: 12U softball at sectionals, Rockledge.
July 6: 12U baseball at Lake Mary 7 p.m.
