Ariez Anderson, a recent graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School, has been awarded $2,000 in scholarships from the G.W. Carver Center Foundation.

Anderson received the foundation's Foundation and Community scholarships and will attend Daytona State College this fall to pursue her passion in the performing arts. She plans to attend Florida A&M University after graduating from Daytona State College.

The G.W. Carver Center, a community center in Bunnell, is operated by the Flagler County School District through an interlocal agreement with the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners.
