Tanya Whitaker

Hometown: Bunnell, Florida

Tanya Whitaker is a busy working mother. Her husband, Jeremy, is also a veteran. In addition to ferrying her children to scout meetings and sporting events, she is a very active member of the Flagler County veteran community.

Whitaker represents American Legion Post 115 as a member of the Flagler County Veterans Advisory Council. She is also the primary organizer of the Legion Post’s Wreaths Across America campaign each year for the Espanola and Masonic cemeteries. Her whole family gets involved and they spend countless hours annually maintaining the Espanola Cemetery, mowing, cleaning and replacing unserviceable U.S. flags.
