Dan “Dustoff Five-Zero” Waldron

Dan Waldron is a Vietnam Veteran who flew “dust off” medical evacuation missions in combat. Among his decorations, he earned the Service and Campaign ribbons for RVN (Republic of Vietnam), Air Medal with silver Olive Leaf Cluster, and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with silver star.

Following military service, he graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in nursing and worked 30 years as a critical care, cardiac cath lab nurse. He’s lived in Flagler Beach for 38 years. Waldron is a member of the Flagler County Veterans Advisory Council, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association and VFW Post 8696. He is at his happiest helping other veterans.
