Flagler Palm Coast evened its record to 7-7 with a 5-3 home victory over DeLand on April 14 and a 16-0 win at DeLand on April 15.
The Bulldogs improved to 4-0 in the district with the two wins. They were scheduled to host Seabreeze on Monday, April 18 and Atlantic on April 20. DeLand fell to 5-12 with the losses.
In the home game, FPC jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first two innings. The host Bulldogs had seven hits in the game. Lexie Laura went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Laura also got the win in the circle, allowing three runs on five hits and four walks while striking out seven batters.
Scarlett Shields hit a double and scored a run for the home team, while Gabriella Stevens went 1 for 2 with a run and an RBI. Kylee Burns, Sadie Schell and Hanna Kurek also drove in runs. Bailey Holmes and Madison Cercy each scored a run.
