George O'Dell

  • Years of Service: Sept. 12, 1991, to March 28, 2013
  • Branch of Military: Army
  • Rank/Occupation: Staff Sergeant, Combat Medic/Military Police Officer (dual certified)
  • Hometown: Newark, New Jersey
  • City of Residence: Palm Coast
  • What I Learned:  "I learned to lead by example, accomplish my mission and take care of my soldiers and leaders. Throughout my career and the many combat, operational and support deployments to more than six countries on three continents to include OIF and OEF, my appreciation and love of our freedoms, liberties and opportunities in the United States kept me focused and motivated. We live in the greatest country on earth and these freedoms and those who sacrifice to ensure them should be cherished!"

O'Dell currently serves as the commander of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 86, Flagler County. He is also a certified Chapter Service Officer.
