With local restaurants serving food and beverages throughout the 18 holes, nearly two dozen teams took part in the 31st-annual Flagler County Education Foundation Golf Classic, held May 3, at Grand Haven Golf Club.
Following play, the day was capped off with a picnic on the lawn for players and their families to enjoy food and music while watching boats go down the Intracoastal Waterway at Grand Haven Golf Club.
The golf tournament raised $144,000 for Flagler County Education Foundation Programs like Take Stock in Children, the STUFF Bus Program, and Career Coaching.
“None of this would be possible without the individual and business sponsors we have," said David Alfin, Flagler County Education Foundation president. "It is through these critical partnerships in education that we are able to continue supporting the students and staff in Flagler Schools. Thank you to all the sponsors of the 31st-annual Golf Classic."
