Andy Romano Beachfront Park to reopen Saturday

Park restrooms will also be open.

Now that Volusia County has relaxed its beach restrictions to allow sunbathing and sitting, effective Saturday, May 2, the city of Ormond Beach announced it will open Andy Romano Beachfront Park with limited parking as well.

The change will be effective on Saturday too, and park restrooms will be open. However, the city stated that the splash pad and playground will remain closed. Andy Romano Beachfront Park is located at 839 S. Atlantic Ave.

In accordance with the county's social distancing guidelines, groups must be limited to six people or less, and should be a minimum of 10 feet away from other groups.
