Deputies evacuated the Dunkin' Donuts location in the Target shopping center on State Road 100 in Palm Coast the afternoon of Thursday, Sept. 19, after someone called and said there was a bomb in the building, according to a Flagler County Sheriff's Office report.

The Dunkin' Donuts store's manager told deputies that he got a call on the business line at 3:08 p.m., and that "the unknown person stated something to the effect of there being a bomb in the bathroom/building," according to a deputy's summary of the manager's statement.

The manager "asked if the unknown subject knew whom they called, and the caller stated 'F--- you' and hung up the phone," according to the deputy's report. "[The manager] further advised that the caller sounded like a young female."

With the manager's agreement, deputies cleared the lobby of the store and then checked the bathrooms and the rest of the business. They found nothing suspicious.

Neighboring businesses were also notified, according to the report.

The FCSO then brought in a law enforcement dog, K9 Jax, and the dog conducted a sweep for explosives.

None were found.
