Volusia for the Bahamas stuffs trailer full with donations for the Bahamas

Donations of generators are needed to power six churches on Grand Bahama Island that provide meals and serve as donation sites for the community.

Volusia for the Bahamas had one of their first drop-offs Sunday, Sept. 8, at Airport Road Park in Port Orange from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Residents came from all over the county to stuff the trailer full of needed donations that will go to the people in the Bahamas.

The group posted on Facebook that donations of generators are needed to help six churches on Grand Bahama Island be able to prepare meals and serve as donation locations for the community.
