Photos: Ormond Beach children make Thanksgiving crafts at Environmental Discovery Center

Thanksgiving means it's time for turkey-themed crafts at the Environmental Discovery Center.

Local children spent part of their Saturday afternoon on Nov. 23, making acorns into turkeys. How so? With a little glue and construction paper, anything is possible. As the children got to crafting, EDC staff and volunteers also taught them facts about turkeys.

The craft event was presented by the city's Department of Leisure Services.
