Pathways Elementary showed appreciation for local veterans with its fifth-annual "Pathways Honors Our Veterans" program on Friday, Nov. 8.
The celebration featured two morning programs; the first was comprised of third to fifth grade students and the second featured kindergarten to second grade. The students performed patriotic songs like "This is America," "You're a Grand Old Flag" and "America the Beautiful." The program was organized by music teacher Jessica Palmer and offered students the opportunity to read winning essays on Veterans Day.
