9:48 a.m. — 3600 Block of Nova Road
No Valid Driver's License. When a 19-year-old man was pulled over for speeding, police quickly realized he did not speak any English based on the look on his face, according to the report. The man handed the officer his Republica De Guatemala ID card, and a Spanish translator was requested.
As the man spoke to the translator, he admitted he did not have citizenship, has no driver's license, and knew he needed a license to drive in Florida, according to the report.
The man was arrested and transported to jail.
8:44 p.m. — 100 Block of Iron Gate Drive
Trespassing. When a property owner was contacted by her lawn maintenance man to let her know there was a woman inside, the property owner contacted police. A 46-year-old woman was found lying on a bed, asleep, according to the report. The woman was later arrested for trespassing.
The woman said she knew the owner, brought her to the home, and gave her a key. The owner told police she never gave her a key or permission to stay there. The owner also told police she did not know the woman well; she was just a past acquaintance.
The woman was arrested and taken to jail.
4:27 p.m. — 70 Block of Golden Gate Circle
Domestic Violence/Battery. A 33-year-old woman was arrested after throwing an aerosol can at her boyfriend during an argument. The boyfriend initially told police he received the cut on his arm from working on his bicycle and later admitted he recently received a phone and was “just going to call other girls." This upset the woman, and she threw the aerosol can at him.
The woman initially told police that she was just play fighting with her boyfriend “like they always do because they find it hot” and later admitted to being upset over the phone and him using it to talk with other girls.
The woman was arrested and taken to jail.
