July 23

Tomoka Poets

When: 7-8:30 p.m.

Where: Copperline Coffee and Cafe, 5521 S. Williamson Blvd., Unit #420

Details: Free open mic night. 

July 25

Give Back Day 

When: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Chili’s, 1148 Dunlawton Avenue

Details: Support the arts in Port Orange. Event hosted by Thank You Five. When you order your meal and mention the STAGE at Thank You Five, Chili’s will donate a portion of the proceeds from your purchase to TY5.

July 26

IDignity Volusia

When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Port Orange Presbyterian Church, 4662 Clyde Morris Blvd.

Details: The Florida Licensing On Wheels bus will be on hand to process driver’s license renewals and identification cards. Volunteers will also be available to help attendees apply for copies of birth certificates, marriage licenses or other documentation needed to prove their identity. Free vision and diabetes screening will be available by the Ormond Beach Lions club, as well as hepatitis and HIV screening by the Volusia County Health Department. 

Pop-Up Park

When: 6-8 p.m.

Where: Riverwalk Park, 3459 S. Ridgewood Ave.

Details: Celebrate Parks and Rec month at the Pop-Up Park at Riverwalk Park. The first 200 people will receive a free hot dog, chips and water. Games, inflatables and splash pad will be available to enjoy.

July 27

Kidfest and Fashion Show at Belk

When: 12-2 p.m.

Where: Belk at the Pavilion, 5519 S. Williamson Blvd.

Details: Free day for the family where kids can go play and model. Vendors, games, giveaways and more. To model, contact [email protected] or call 265-5479.
