Ormond Beach residents will have an opportunity to receive a weekly box of fruits and vegetables grown at an organic farm near Gainesville beginning this fall.

Frog Song Organics has announced a partnership with Gold Leaf Coffee Co., 17 W. Granada Blvd., to make the farm’s produce available. Residents will have the opportunity to purchase a share of Frog Song Organics’ harvest and in return, receive a weekly box of fruits and vegetables.

Frog Song Organics has been operating Community Supported Agriculture, a partnership between community members and farmers, for years, according to a press release. In addition to Gold Leaf, the program will be available at Copperline Coffee and Cafe in the Port Orange Pavilion.

Those interested should visit www.frogsongorganics.com to sign up for the harvest. The boxes can be picked up 4-6 p.m. every Wednesday at Gold Leaf when the program starts. The season will last 32 weeks.

Frog Song Organics is a 60-acre certified organic fruit and vegetable farm. Megan Corbett, of Gold Leaf Coffee, said the project is consistent their mission of using local, natural products at the coffee shop.
