Ormond Beach residents started their Christmas celebrations early by attending the 41st-annual Christmas Gala at the Casements, which started on Friday, Dec. 6.
Rockefeller's former home was decked out in greens, blues and purples to represent the northern lights, to go along with this year's theme. The local Girl Scouts troop had a cookie decorating booth as well as concessions for sale. Families could also take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, listen to holiday music, tour the Casements home and ride a train around Rockefeller Gardens.
The Gala will also take place on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7-8. Saturday's gala runs from 1-8 p.m., and Sunday's from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
