A victim was allegedly sexually battered by a man from Bunnell on Saturday, Nov. 17, according to a charging affidavit released by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to Halifax Health in Daytona Beach to meet the victim. She told deputies that around 4 p.m. that day, she was sexually battered at a residence in Bunnell by 20-year-old Stephen Connor Brady, who had reportedly broken up with his now ex-girlfriend and was "requesting comfort."

Law enforcement obtained a search warrant, which was served on the night of Monday, Nov. 19, at 2570 C.R. 304. Brady was arrested and charged with sexual battery. He was taken to the Flagler County Jail and is being held with no bond. The investigation into this case is still ongoing.

"The evidence shows the suspect took advantage of this victim and that the woman said ‘no’ and continually tried to remove herself from the situation. ‘No’ means no!,” Sheriff Rick Staly said in a release. “Our victim advocates are assisting the victim as this case moves forward.”
