The Our Lady of Hope Knights of Columbus, Council 8086, will have their annual Tootsie Roll Drive to raise money for the Citizens with Disablities Program.

Last year, more than $6,000 was raised, which was shared with four Volusia County Children Disabilites Programs. This year's goal is to surpass this amount.

The drive started in January and will officially end on Saturday, March 31. The event is part of a national drive during which many councils throughout the country participate.

Knights will be wearing yellow vests outside many local supermarkets, stores and eateries, generally on Saturday and Sunday.

The local Walmarts, Publix and Winn Dixie will be participating, along with Our Lady of Hope.
