Saturday, Dec. 8

Starlight Holiday Parade

When: 7 p.m.

Where: beginning at Central Park in Town Center, 975 Central Ave.

Cost: Free

Details: The Starlight Holiday Parade will feature colorful lighted floats and talented marching bands. Call 986-2323.

 

Sunday, Dec. 9

Worldwide Candle Lighting

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Wickline Park, 800 S. Daytona Ave., Flagler Beach

Cost: Free

Details: The Compassionate Friends will host the event to honor the memories of the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and grandchildren who left us too soon. Candles will be lit at 7 p.m. Please bring chairs.

 

Monday, Dec. 10

Christmas fun for seniors

When: 1-3 p.m.

Where: Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE

Cost: Free

Details: Celebrating Christmas is not just for kids. Palm Coast Parks and Recreation is offering four senior special events for the holidays this month: a Christmas Party with Santa and three Christmas Movie Mondays. The movies will be: Dec. 3, “It’s a Wonderful Life”; Monday, Dec. 10, “Miracle on 34th Street”; and Monday, Dec. 17, “White Christmas.” The Christmas Party with Santa will be 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21. Seniors are encouraged to wear their favorite Christmas sweaters.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 12

Luncheon on gun laws

When: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Hammock Beach Resort, 200 Ocean Crest Drive

Details: The Flagler Tiger Bay Club board of directors will host the club’s next luncheon with the topic "New Florida Gun Laws, What They Mean to Flagler County." The debate over gun control comes front and center to Flagler County as guest speaker Circuit Judge Terence R. Perkins will come to speak. The event is open to Flagler Tiger Bay members and their guests. Those interested in joining are asked to visit https://www.flaglertigerbayclub.com.

 

Dinner with Santa

When: 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Where: Flagler Palm Coast High School Cafeteria, 5500 State Road 100

Cost: $3/ person

Details: Entry includes a pasta dinner with salad and dessert, a holiday craft station, photo opportunities, and meet and greets with Elsa, Anna and Santa Claus himself. All proceeds are donated to help support the families of FPC students that are in need. The event is hosted by the FPC Student Government Association.

 

Dec. 13-15

Palm Coast Living Nativity

When: 6-9 p.m.

Where: Parkview Baptist Church, 5435 Belle Terre Parkway

Cost: Free

Details: Experience the greatest story ever told at the Palm Coast Living Nativity. This drive-thru event will take you back in time with elaborate sets, colorful costuming and live animals. Bring the whole family to experience this celebration of Christmas.

 

Saturday, Dec. 15

Breakfast with Santa

When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Matanzas High School cafeteria, 3535 Pirate Nation Way

Cost: $5 donation

Details: The Matanzas High School Key Club is hosting its annually anticipated Breakfast With Santa, where there will be crafts and games for kids, as well as an appearance from Santa. Breakfast will be served.

 

Saturday, Dec. 22

Foot Golf Holiday Tournament

When: 2 p.m.

Where: Palm Harbor Golf Club, 20 Palm Harbor Drive

Cost: $25/player for Flagler Soccer members; $30/player for nonmembers

Details: Flagler Soccer and Palm Harbor Golf Club will present the first-annual Foot Golf Holiday Tournament. Teams of four, register now at https://www.flaglersoccer.com/footgolf. There will be nine holes, shirts for the winners, trophy for best individual score and food and alcohol available.
