Police searching for missing man

Edward Tod Wakeman was reported missing on Monday, April 2.

This story was updated May 4. Edward Tod Wakeman has not been diagnosed with schizophrenia, according to Annamarie Wakeman, his wife. Also, he was found on the west coast of Florida and was in good condition.

Police are asking the public's help to locate 39-year-old Edward Tod Wakeman who was reported missing on Monday, April 2, according to the Port Orange Police Department. 

Wakeman, who goes by the name of Tod, has been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and was reported to recently be showing erratic behavior. 

Wakeman left his residence at 7:15 a.m. on Monday, April 2. He is 6' 2" white male with brown, black hair and 240 pounds. 

Wakeman's debit card was used in Jacksonville, Fort Pierce and most recently in Naples. He is also without his medication at this time and left his cell phone at his residence. Wakeman us believed to be traveling in his Ford Ranger, described as 2001, white in color, extended cab bearing FL Tag# 063LXC.

The truck has a Miami Dolphins sticker on the back window.
